Company Logo High Quality Frequently Asked Questions
How will it take to recreate a logo into vector?
It will take about a day to two business days to recreate the logo, depending on the amount of detail and effects used on the original design.
What files will I get after the logo recreation?
You will get the source file, which would be in an Adobe format like Indesign or Illustrator, a PDF vector version for large scale printing, a JPG for general use and a transparent background PNG file.
Can photos be redrawn into a high resolution vector?
You can only do vector traces using applications like Adobe Illustrator. Although a photo can be vectorised, it will create a photo that has obvious degradation in it since mathematical vector tracing of pixel information will not be accurate. It will also create quite a massive vector file with all that info in it. Generally, you should not have a full photo on your logo. A stylized version of the photo subject may be a better choice.
Why would I need my logo redesigned?
It is essential to have a high resolution logo as it not only looks better, but it makes your business look more professional. A vector logo is ideal because pixel based images do not enlarge well. The quality is lost and you will have a blurry image. Everything on the web is low resolution (72dpi), so if you copy your logo off your website it will not be suitable for print.
Can I touch my logo up a bit during the same recreation process?
Yes, if the touching up that you require is minimal then we can add it into the same costing. Redrawing a logo can take a while and the service is specifically made for the recreation of existing logos. If you want major changes on your logo then you can look at our logo design service.
Are there limitations to what can be redrawn?
If the current logo is the complexity of the Mona Lisa then it is likely that we will not be able to redraw your logo. Logos do need to be simple so that they can be easily used on other media and so that clients can remember it easily. Making a logo too complex will just create problems in the future. Genius lies in simplicity so keep it simple.
